4 Things to do with Your Dog This Father's Day

Father's Day is nearly here and why not spend it with the whole family? As dog-friendly becomes the norm, you no longer have to leave your four-legged friend at home. So bring them along with you this Sunday...after all, they're part of the family!

To help you, we've packed some of our best dog-friendly Father's Day activity ideas into this brand new blog. So whether you're a doggy daddy or simply see your pup as one of the kids, read on to discover our top tips...

1) Stay at a Cottage

Book a few days off and take a long weekend break in the countryside. There's nothing like a quaint, rural cottage in the middle of nowhere to ease the soul. For holiday inspiration, check out our Dog Friendly page - all listings are pawsonally approved by us!

Our latest favourite stay has to be Wheeldon Trees Farm. Located in the heart of the Peak District, these lovely stone cottages are perfect for relaxing and unwinding. With miles of walks starting straight from the doorstep, there's plenty of adventures to be had too!

Plus, once you're done exploring, you'll be able to retreat to your cottage for a snuggle on the sofa with a glass of wine and a movie...perfect!

2) Get Outside

Dogs love nothing more than getting out and exploring. Turn that mundane chore of walking the dog into something exciting and fun for all the family this Father's Day.

There's so many wonderful places to discover with your dog across the whole country. From city strolls and woodland walks to hillside hikes and trails - there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Look up your nearest walk and go in search of a new adventure. You'll appreciate the breathtaking scenery while your dog delights in all the new smells!

3) Go for a Pint

There's nothing like a refreshing pint after a long day of exploring so why not take him out for a beer?

With micropubs and craft breweries on the rise, there's plenty of pawsome new places to try out.

Westerham Brewery is just a short train ride from London and has a tap room on site. They serve their own beer, as well as biscuits for the dogs, and you'll even be able to watch the brewers at work as you drink - (make sure to keep an eye out for Wilbur & Paisley's dad who is a brewer there!)

They also have regularly changing street food vans on location so you can grab a bite to eat too...Buon Appetito!

4) Get a Card & Gift

Nothing shows how much you care more than a pawsonally selected card and gift. Pick out the pawfect card for your dad this Father's Day from Forever Foxed. They have two adorable designs to choose from that any doggy daddy would be delighted to receive this Sunday.

Don't forget to get a present too! The Little Picture Company has a wide range of personalised products for pet lovers. Whether he needs a new keyring for work or a mug for his morning cuppa - then they've got you covered.

All of their pet products come customised with your pet's picture as well as a Father's Day message printed on them! Who says pets can't treat their dads this Sunday?

Remember, Father's Day is fast approaching so make sure to get your orders in now. Check out more wonderful cards and gift ideas in our Father's Day Gift Guide.

Psst, don't forget to bring him a cuppa with his card on Sunday morning...
